“JACKSONPREP is simply outstanding: my child truly looked forward to every single session!” - Angela, Chiswick.
Philosophy & Approach
With over fifteen years of hands on experience, Jackson and his team of tutors pride themselves on their incredible reputation for delivering fun and highly engaging tuition. Every single tuition session is crafted and tailored towards each individual child, ensuring that the content and teaching style matches that child’s specific needs. Jackson and his team take great care to discover the passions and interests of every child they teach in order to align these affinities to each tuition session. Whether your child is passionate about sports, music, art or anything else, Jackson and his team will carve out ways to utilise these themes and interests across every lesson.
The Process
Jackson always offers a completely free consultation chat (either in person over coffee, or via telephone/video-call if preferred) for every parent interested in tuition for their child. This allows him to find out more about each child’s specific skills, attributes and areas for development. Building trust and establishing rapport are critical components to any successful tuition partnership; this chat helps to begin that journey!
In-Person Tutoring in West London
In-person tuition remains our most popular choice for families across West and Southwest London. Our experienced tutors travel to your home in Chiswick, Richmond, Putney, Fulham, Hammersmith, Teddington and the surrounding areas, so your child can learn somewhere familiar and comfortable, without an extra journey after school.
Every tutor arrives fully prepared, bringing all the equipment and resources needed for a productive session: portable whiteboards, pens, laptops and tablets, practice papers and our own carefully designed materials. There's nothing for parents to buy or set up.
Face-to-face lessons let our tutors build real rapport, read each child's confidence and adapt their teaching in the moment. Sessions are tailored to your child's interests and target schools, covering English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, creative writing and interview practice.
Our home tutors provide focused, personalised support that fits around family life. That includes preparation for 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+ entrance exams at London's leading independent schools, GCSE preparation, and simply building skills and confidence. Online Tutoring UK & International
Online tuition gives families the same high-quality, personalised teaching wherever they are, from West London to Dubai and beyond. Our online tutors teach live via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, using interactive whiteboards, shared screens and digital practice papers. Lessons feel every bit as engaging as being in the room.
Online tutoring is ideal for busy schedules and for siblings with different timetables. It also suits families who have moved abroad but are still aiming for UK independent schools. We work with children at British-curriculum international schools across Europe and the Middle East. We prepare them for 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+ entry, the ISEB Common Pre-Test and GCSE exams.
Many entrance exams are now taken on screen, so online lessons also help children grow comfortable with computer-based tests. Every session is tailored to your child's goals, with regular updates for parents.
All you need is a laptop or tablet and a reliable internet connection. Our online tutors cover English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning and interview preparation, and we're happy to combine online and in-person sessions. Book a free consultation to find out how online tuition could work for your family.
