11+ Tutors in Richmond upon Thames
“I love the way Jackson makes up games to help me with my learning. It never feels like school” (Sophie, Richmond)
Richmond families have more choice than most at 7+, 8+ and 11+, which also makes the decisions harder. Based just down the river in Teddington, we've spent over fifteen years helping families across Richmond, Kew, Sheen and Ham find the right schools and prepare with confidence.
7+ and 8+ tuition in Richmond
Many younger pupils come to us from King's House, Kew College Prep, The Old Vicarage School and Unicorn School, or from local primaries such as Vineyard, Holy Trinity and The Russell School. Popular 7+ and 8+ targets include King's College Junior School, St Paul's Juniors, The Harrodian and Ibstock Place. Sessions focus on fluent reading, confident number work and the calm, curious manner that assessors notice.
11+ tuition in Richmond
At 11+, Richmond families most often apply to Hampton, Lady Eleanor Holles, Kew House, Radnor House and St Paul's, as well as Latymer Upper and Godolphin and Latymer. Many also sit the highly competitive Tiffin School and Tiffin Girls' tests in Kingston, or consider Christ's School and Grey Court locally. We help you build a balanced list, then prepare your child for each school's English, maths and reasoning papers and interviews.
